My most recent biography, Singing in a Strange Land: C. L. Franklin, the Black Church, and the Transformation of America, is now available in a paperback edition. If you click on the book cover to your right, you will find more information, including a chapter from the book, selections from Franklin's sermons, reviews, and information on how to buy the book.
In late fall 2006 a new paperback edition of We All Got History: The Memory Books of Amos Webber, became available. In March 2007 a collection of essays I edited and contributed to, Faith and the Historian: Catholic Perspectives, was published.
